Monique Lhuillier Fall 2009

Monique Lhuillier will always be one of my favourite bridal designers. Her designs are always so feminine and classic whilst also being so innovative. She was hugely influential in starting the sash and lace trends of that took the bridal world by storm in 2005 and for me, her work just seems to get better and better. This new collection is so beautiful it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

And how stunning are those single tier catherdral length veils? Very. New trend I wonder?

I Heart: Monsoon

I love Monsoon and their uber delicate, feminine designs. They do a great range of affordable but beautiful dresses and I think it would be just about possible to dress all of your female bridal party from the one store.

For a flower girl I love this sweet headband and matching dress:

Bridesmaid wise I think this sophisticated number is perfect for a sleek urban affair:



Whilst for the Mother of the Bride, I think this evening gown is perfect:

Rosa Clara

Beautiful things over at Rosa Clara:


Take a couple of minutes to watch the runway show, it's worth it just to hear the music (though I have to confess I didn't have the stamina for the whole thing).

Beautiful Gowns: Pronovias

Hopelessly in love

I am hopelessly in love with Oscar de la Renta...


...and unfortunately I think it may be terminal.

Unmistakably feminine, each collection offers something for every style and shape of bride. A-line, empire, fish tail, architectural and structured, delicate and girly, strapless and strapped, halterneck, sleeved and sleeveless, long and adorably short........I just don't know how a girl would choose between them. A nice dilemma to have though!
