I think I'd love something mellow on the way up the aisle, then something a bit exciting for us to exit to! Thinking maybe Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley for the processional... it's nice and long so it can play for a while before I make my entrance.
Exit song has to be My First, My Last, My Everything by Barry White!!

(Not planning my wedding yet, but a girl can dream...)

It's tough... classical music doesn't feel quite right for us, but a 'pop' song (for lack of a better term) feels all wrong for us too. We'll need to have something played live, as we have a no amplified music outdoors rule at our site... so I'm thinking a traditional Klezmer tune on a violin. Thankfully, we have a long time to think it over still.

Cara, I am starting to get really excited about your wedding!
It's really difficult to narrow it down to one track. Plus I am there with you on the 'inappropriateness'! I love a bit of Marvin Gaye for a first dance but sometimes the lyrics make me blush!
I have a friend who wants to walk down the aisle to 'the final countdown' he he he!

I love that piece from Oh Brother Where Art Thou. I wanted to use it as our processional piece but The Boy vetoed it as too religious. I also wanted Fix You but I think it might make me cry.

So we don't have a clue what to use for walking down the aisle!

We're going to walk back up the aisle to Lou Reed's Crazy Feeling, Kicks or Oooh Baby. We can't decide. We love Oooh Baby but we're not sure if it's just a little bit too inappropriate!
